K2 was born in 1962 as an American company on Vashon Island in Washington State’s Puget Sound. Renamed in 2003 as K2 Sports and now based in Seattle, the company today is an international portfolio of world-renowned brands recognized as leaders in the innovation, marketing, and quality of our products and services. Driven by a passion for our sports and enthusiasts, we make alpine skis, snowboards, snowshoes, in-line skates, and Nordic ski equipment, apparel, and accessories.

It's the details that distinguish premium products from all others. Since 1895, the Falke family business has stood for fashionable clothing made from high-quality materials, finished with handcrafted perfection and an eye for detail. We have always had a vision of pooling our knowledge of legwear – established and collected throughout the 120-year company history – to create a unique new product line. To this end, we brought together all of our artisans, who not only practise their craft but live it. And now we address all of those around the world, for whom luxury does not represent excess but rather the liberty of rewarding themselves with the very best. They do not need luxury. It is enough for them to know that, at least for the time being, it doesn't get better than this. They want to be able to enjoy peaceful, silent moments of luxury time and again, revelling in the pleasure of it.

Skiing the Wrong Way Since ’95
A History of Line Skis

Skiing is un-fun. That was probably the best way to describe the sport in the early 1990’s. What were the options? Straight, stiff & uninspiring skis.

In 1995, LINE began with the mission to change that – to reclaim that enjoyment that comes from strapping sticks to your feet & sending yourself down a slope at gravity’s disposal. From our humble beginnings as a garage brand in upstate New York to becoming a worldwide innovator in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, our mission has always been the simple goal of making skiing MORE FUNNER!

RIDE'S HERITAGE

Founded in Redmond, WA. in late 1992, RIDE hit the market with only four board models and a vision - to create a snowboard company "for the people" built upon technical innovation, superior quality and "selling the dream." With a team of top pro and up-and-coming riders, a strong product line, a zealous ad campaign and quite a bit of hard work, the first few years were a success.

Recently relocating to Seattle, WA., RIDE has never strayed from our original goal of technical innovation, superior quality and "selling the dream," and continues to maintain its distinctive brand identity within the snowboarding market. For RIDE, it's not about being the biggest ... it's about being the best at what we do and truly becoming a great snowboard company "for the people." Through the passion and dedication of all of RIDE’s employees and global affiliates, RIDE has firmly established itself as a snowboard industry leader.

TUBBS-LOGO_horiz.png

FOUNDED IN 1906

Founded in Norway, Maine, Tubbs Snowshoes is a pioneer of the American snowshoeing industry.

While originally crafting snowshoes from fine white ash wood, we now specialize in both traditional aluminum and modern composite snowshoes, continuing to raise the bar for innovative snowshoe designs.

As the first company to engineer women's-specific snowshoes in 1998, Tubbs recognizes the diverse needs of men and women alike, taking into account stride length, stance width, and other physiological differences to create premier ergonomic fit.

Tubbs is dedicated to growing the community of snowshoers. We believe creative programming including the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series, the Get Outdoors Program, and our community of Tubbs Ambassadors, will grow a thriving ecosystem of snowshoeing community and culture.

Based in Seattle, Washington, in the shadow of always snow-capped Mt. Rainier, Tubbs is a member of the K2 Sports family of world-leading winter sports and outdoor recreational brands.

Atlas_Logo.jpg

Atlas is a classic story about an idea that became a brand. The idea started in 1990 when fledgling entrepreneurs Perry Klebahn and Jim Klingbeil developed Spring Loaded Suspension. What began as a Stanford graduate project would become the foundation for the most technically innovative snowshoe brand.

Since its founding Atlas has remained committed to two principles:

  1. We believe that better technology delivers an enhanced experience for outdoor enthusiasts.

  2. Our role in building up the sport of snowshoeing extends beyond product as ambassadors for winter wonder.

Dedication to the winter journey motivates Atlas to deliver the most technically advanced, high performance snowshoes available today. With 19 patents and counting, Atlas continues its quest to design superior snowshoe products for the outdoor enthusiast.
